I have been using the Security Center app successfully until yesterday. When I run the Security Checkup I get a popup that says: “The operation cannot be completed due to insufficient available storage space. Go to “Storage & Snapshots” to free up space and retry the operation.” Is there a way to fix this so that I can complete a Security Checkup?
For the moment I have stopped (turned off) Security Center.
Thanks in advance.

We apologize for the problem you’ve encountered. It appears to be caused by a recent update.
We are planning to release a new version this week to address this issue.
I have the same issue as Brodie, on my TS-231K (my TS-328 and TS-453Be seem to be fine). I start Security Check, it sits there at 0% complete for a few seconds, then quits with no indication of what’s wrong. Security Center and firmware are both at latest available versions. On a hunch, I did a file system check, which passed.
Hi @Brodie@bdipert ,
Would it be convenient for you to provide a screenshot or share more details about what you’re experiencing? Any additional information would be a great help.
Thanks!
See attached “before”, “during” and “after” screenshots. It “runs” (if you can call it that) for 7 seconds, always at 0% completion, before it quits. It indicates “not scanned yet” because I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Security Center in the process of trying to fix this, and existing scan logs apparently got wiped by the uninstall.
@user28 By uninstalling and then reinstalling Security Center, you actually installed the older version which QNAP has temporarily reinstated (and which is also working fine on my TS-231K). QNAP has yet to make available the new version that @SteveKo mentioned a few days ago. Any update, @SteveKo ?
SteveKo: The new version is finally working. Thanks for the update! I just updated over the old version. No need to remove the app, restart the NAS, and download the latest version of Security Center as mentioned in a previous post.
