On both of my QNAP Routers, the 301W and the 322 they have the option to enable FTP. By default it uses TLS 1.3, but it’s not forced and plain FTP connections can still be made if the application doesn’t support SFTP..
Now that USB hard disks can be connected I’d very much like to be able to use this feature but cannot open the feature to the WAN whilst plain FTP is available.
Would it be possible to toggle FTP/SFTP, and give us the option?
