That pulled down the latest. I don’t know why alzahar/simplehelpserver doesn’t work - it should, right?
At least now I know I can manually modify the YAML with the version number and that should pull that version. And now I can update it all w/o ruining my settings. So this is great!
So I spun up SH again, and you’re right.
It installs basically the oldest version.
If I open https://simple-help.com/releases/SimpleHelp-linux-amd64.tar.gz in my browser it’s new. If I use wget from the NAS or WSL I get 5.2.10.
So SH.com is being annoying. I’ve filed a bug on github so maybe he does something.
Otherwise if your comfortable using the container from alzahar I guess it doesn’t matter.
Fun fact, https://simple-help.com/releases/5.5.13/SimpleHelp-linux-amd64.tar.gz works even with wget. But that would mean someone needs to take over maintenance.
