Suitable UPS for my older NAS

Hi,

I have an older NAS and need a UPS for it.

My NAS is a TS-1679U-RP.

The UPS I am looking to purchase is a 1500VA Cyberpower OR1500ERM1U.

Is this compatible with my NAS?

Cyberpower BR700 works fine with Qnap.

Will something like CyberPower Systems Value Pro-(VP1000ELCD) work with my NAS?

Almost any UPS will “work”, so it depends on what you mean.

Do you want it to communicate with your NAS (USB) or how long do you expect it to provide power for?

I want to use USB connection to automate shutdown in case of a power failure.

I have an APC UPS, which is not recognised by QNAP, so I want to make sure the next one works!

APC should be recognized, I have never seen one that wasn’t.

What is the model?
