I have TS-419P II. I need some simple text editor.
I tried these:
Micro_2.0.14_arm-x41.qpkg (Did not install)
Nano_7.1_arm-x19.qpkg (Installed icon, Did not work)
TextEditor_1.1.5.20250917.qpkg (Installed icon, Did not work, must be removed manually)
None of these seems to work.
Is there some, which is working in my device ?
I’m building my own web pages ‘old fashion’ of tags and vi is not very nice.

Try installing the Entware QPKG. You can then install a compatible version of nano via opkg.
As an Admin I downloaded the qpkg file Entware_1.00std.qpkg to my laptop and opened “install manually” in AppCenter. Klick “Browse” and selected the file.
After some wait I got an icon in the AppCenter, but not on desctop.
Left klick-klick the icon opened a window with a hammer and link “Open”, which did nothing.
Log out and log in as basic user. THe icon is there, but does not more than before.
Any ideas ?
BTW: versio 4.3.3.2784 (19.06.2024)
It’s CLI only. The icon exists in the App Center UI but the QPKG makes various utilities available via the CLI. 
There’s a later version of the Entware QPKG you should use. I think the current version is 1.03
It took time to find Entware 1.03 in Index of /other/

Is here some problem with the processor ?
It seems TS419P II has ARM 88F6282.
Should I hunt ARM5 programs for it ?
It’s CLI tools, ignore any webUI icons.
You need SSH to use them.
What exactly are you trying to achieve?
I am trying to install a simple GUI text editor to TS419P II
I do not find any in the official repos.

If Entware is a CLI version, why is there a GUI icon (which does not work) and how to use this Entware ?
Is there any reason you can’t edit these text files on your client PC via shared folders/SSH/SFTP?
It’s a command-line utility for installing other command-line utilities. You access it remotely from your client device via SSH or Telnet (depending on your preference), or via the console by direct connection to your NAS with a monitor and keyboard (if supported).
I suggested it as your OP mention the vi editor, so I assumed you knew how to navigate via the command-line.
All QPKGs get an icon in the App Center so you can see what’s installed, and perform basic tasks on each QPKG. It doesn’t mean there’s a web UI to go along with the application inside the QPKG though.
After installing Entware and those other programs (Nano, Micro, TextEditor) I tried to find them and run them in CLI but with no success. There is no man pages nor I have found any other documentation.
I have used Linux for about 35y now, written a lot of programs and been working in a university helpdesk.
