I am hoping someone out there may have an answer. Recently, I am getting a powershell popup that disconnects my thunderbolt connection. Then it is restored. It happens about every two minutes.
AI thinks it is QFinder related, but I am hoping someone out there might have experienced this or otherwise might know what’s going on.
PC. I use QFinder to log into the QNAP when I need to do things; and if the culprit is QFinder I am more than happy to stop and figure something else out. But hopefully I am not isolated here and someone else has actually heard of this and knows what may be causing it.
So I have a TVS-672XT and I use it w/Thunderbolt on a Mac. What I found is that I needed to set a fixed IP address on the Mac side for the Thunderbolt network adapter. Could be the PC needs the same thing. Try that and see if that helps things.
If the IP address is always set to a fixed value, you don’t need Qfinder…
I’d like to follow up with a few more questions: What is the version of Qfinder Pro you are currently using, and have you updated it recently? Additionally, if you temporarily disable or close Qfinder Pro, does the issue resolve itself?
Yes - It went away once I stopped QFinder. I am using v7.13.2. I would say the problem started with the prior update (the one before 7.13.2).
Powershell opens for a flash, I get a note from Windows that my Thunderbolt connection has terminated, and then it reconnects. There was no powershell or scheduled occurrences set up in my windows setup.
