TimeMachine and SMB3 available on which NAS systems?

ON my TS419P is running QTS 4.3.3. There is not possible to switch the Timemachine to SMB3.

Now i have to change my NAS.

Which NAS System is working for the new regulation from Aplle to use Timemachine on QNAP?

Any current NAS system from the last 12+ years will support SMB 3.0 (your NAS is over 16 years old)

Make sure you setup a new NAS with new disks, swapping your old disks over will result in a crippled legacy volume.

I would buy as expensive a NAS as you can afford. But stay away from ARM based units. They don’t have as much functionality as the X86 units.
