TR-004 content and replacing all the HDDs in my NAS

Hello everyone. I have a TS-453Be NAS with 4 4TB HDDs in a RAID 5 configuration. Connected to this is a TR-004 loaded with data.

I have the opportunity to replace the HDDs in the TS-453Be with SSDs of the same capacity. The HDDs are old and the idea of no moving parts is enticing.

My question is - if I replace all the drives in the NAS and just start fresh with a completely new setup, with the NAS recognize the existing data on the TR-004, or would the NAS be looking to format the TR-004?

How was the TR set up ? External storage ? Internal storage (with pool)

You could also just replace the HDD’s with SSD’s one by one and just have each rebuild (IF they are the same size)
