TS-251B 2.5Gb or faster support via usb card

I have a TS-251B with a QNAP QM2-2S-220A PCIE card installed for m.2 SATA SSD expansion. Can I get 5Gbe or 2.5Gbe network support via the usb ports on it?
What can I do to increase my network speed to multi-gig without sacrificing the m.2 sata drives (the faster the better)?

If you can find it, get this card (2x m.2 SATA and 10GbE)

Thank you for the reply dolbyman!
No luck finding the card. Given how old my Qnap is, I don’t want to invest heavily in expanding the functionality it has.
I found a few reviews on amazon saying that this usb 2.5Gbe card works out of the box, will update if it goes well.

I see reviews for this products that this does not work with QNAP NAS (on the QNAP side, not a client side) , QNAP units are notorious for VERY limited 3rd party compatibility, so if you do not see a products in the compatibility list, chances are high, that it will not work (or will stop working after a firmware update)

Unless usb drivers are in the firmware it is near impossible to know if this adaptor would work at all.

one other method is try asking Qnap_Stephane @stephane on discord to request the drivers be added to his own USB Serial drivers qpkg (if possible) USB serial drivers - MyQNAP

I am happy to report that the Plugable 2.5G usb mentioned above did actually work as a charm as soon as I plugged it in!
It took a bit of fiddling in Network & Virtual switch to maintain the same IP address on the network (swapping IPs between the 2 network interfaces) and granting docker containers access to the interface, but it wasn’t as complicated as I thought it would be given what I read about the previously used workaround and jumping through hoops that people used to go through to get similar products with Realtek RTL81xxx chips to work.
