TS-264-8G SAS HDD with SAS to SATA adapter

Hi

I have TS-264-8G NAS and I want to put in it HDD with SAS connection.
The connector in the nas is SATA and I want to connect the drive with SAS to SATA adapter.
The drive is hgst ultrastar 7k4000.

Will there be enough space in the disc drawer for the adapter as well?
The drive with the adapter will fit the space in the disc drawer?

No, an adapter won’t fit.

A 3.5” form-factor drive completely fills the drive tray.

You’ll need to use SATA drive models only.

No, the expansion cards are for M.2 form-factor drives only.

I made this mistaken when I purchased my first NAS drives. I accidentally bought SAS drives. Looks very similar but wholly incompatible.
