Our QNAP TS-473, running QTS 5.2.10.3577 with four 4 TB HDDs, has failed to complete startup since a shutdown and restart attempt on October 22 at around 8 p.m.
Before this issue, the NAS was remotely accessible over the internet through myQNAPcloud Link.
The STATUS LED remains solid green, the LAN LED flashes, and the fan runs continuously, but the NAS beeps approximately every ten seconds. It cannot be found on the network or through Qfinder, and shared folders are inaccessible.
The symptoms remain exactly the same with all four HDDs physically disconnected.
Could these symptoms be related to the PHP2Shell vulnerabilities mentioned in advisory QSA-26-18, or to their exploitation? Have any similar cases been reported?
