TS-673 not booting correctly - need BIOS file for recovery

Hi everyone,

I was given a six bay TS-673 that isn’t working properly. When powered on, the motherboard LED lights up and the CPU fan spins at full speed immediately, but the status LED never comes. The LAN LED comes on with standby power, so the I guess that works at least. When I try pressing the power button nothing happens and there’s no beep.

I’ve connected an HDMI monitor and get no video output at all, and cannot boot into the BIOS. I’ve tried removing drives, reseating RAM. I’m tempted to try pulling the CMOS battery since I’ve read on some forums that has resolved the issue. But based on the behavior I’m doubtful. I think need to reset the BIOS but I can’t find it online when looking at this guide for updating the BIOS. The download center lists only the QNAP OS and drivers.

Does anyone know where I can find the BIOS for the TS-673 or TS-X73 series?

Cheers,
Tristan

Have you tried entering a service request with QNAP support? That is where I would start. If anyone has it, they should  Always best to try the source first, then look elsewhere if necessary.

Thank you dosborne. I will try with them and report back
