I’m using this community for the first time.
On my TS-873, I had the following configuration:
14TB3 Raid5
500GB2 SATA SSD Raid1
500GB*2 NVMe SSD Raid1
I was operating with Qtier configured on this setup, but recently I’ve been getting errors saying that the NVMe is not recognized.
If I completely cool down the NAS and then start it up, it recognizes the NVMe without any issues.
I want to somehow disable Qtier and at least evacuate the data in read-only mode. Is there a way to do this? Please let me know.
It seems that the TS-873 comes with a heatsink for M.2, are you using it?

When there is read/write activity on the M.2, it generates quite a bit of heat, and it seems that sometimes the NVMe controller may stop functioning due to the heat.
If you haven’t attached the heatsink, it might be a good idea to try installing it.
In my case, I experienced a similar phenomenon when using an M.2 SSD with the TBS-h574TX, and installing the heatsink improved the situation.
I hope this is helpful.
If your QM2-4P-384 card does not include an active cooling fan, consider installing one or using M.2 heatsinks with thermal pads for each SSD.
Please refer to : What do I do if the system is prompting temperature threshold reached warning messages for the m.2 drives | QNAP
Also, we suggest, to Monitor SSD and PCIe temperatures periodically to avoid thermal throttling or shutdowns. Open Resource Monitor > Hardware > System Temperature tab.
Hope this helps.
