TS-h2477AXU-RP

$2500 cheaper than the TS-h3087XU-RP. Cannot wait !

Bob Zelin

How much is it? It’s not in the QNAP store…

I hardly had ANY text in my post - I specifically said it was $2500 CHEAPER than the TS-h3087XU-RP. Do you not have access to Google, or the availability to see the web sites for B&H Photo or Adorama or Amazon.com, or store.qnap.com ?
So now NA9D - I want you to LOOK THIS UP - and I want you to report back back to me exactly how much a TS-h3087XU-RP costs ! And if you don’t, I will fly to your location, and punish you, until you tell me HOW MUCH does a TS-h3087XU-RP cost. And now you simply subtract that amount from $2500 US. And if you don’t do this - you will not be happy.

Look me up (yes - I am the biggest A-hole you ever met).
Bob Zelin

ps - if you don’t update your QNAP to QuTS h5.3.1 in the next 5 days, I will also fly to your location and punish you. And then you can have your answer on Snapshot Manager and File Station.

So where do you get this information that it is $2500 cheaper than the TS-h3087XU-RP? I have not been able to find that.

DUH! I could look up the cost of the TS-h3087XU-RP and subtract $2500 from that. But why? You somehow have found the price of this unit and subtracted the price of the TS-h2477AXU-RP from the TS-h3087XU-RP and calculated $2500.

The TS-h3087XU-RP is showing for $8500 at BH Photo-Video. $8499 to be exact. So that would mean that the price of the TS-h2477AXU-RP is (drumroll please as the village idiot reaches for his calculator) = $6000 or $5999. Now, I don’t know if the lower cost is truly $2500 or $2499. Who knows. You’ve been vague about how you know this information.

See now if you had simply told me, then you wouldn’t have to waste your time reading this message or the money to buy a plane ticket to Chicago.

As for upgrading to Hero 5.3.x, forget it. Not until QNAP gets apps all upgraded and so forth. If you care not to give me the answer to my question about File Station - fine. Not going to lose sleep over it. But given that I am not upgrading, please PM me, when your flight gets into O’Hare. I’m hosting a block party this weekend for my neighborhood and you are more than welcome to attend.

Hi -
well - I have an excuse for being so rude yesterday - I was drinking heavily - so sorry ! In QuTS h5.3.1, the Snapshot Manager is now an App from the App Store. It’s literally called Snapshot Manager. You can also access this from File Station - it’s on the upper right hand corner of File Station. IT says “Snapshots” - you do the pulldown, and you see Snapshot Manager -

You will be happy to know, Bob, that I ended up upgrading back to h5.3.1.

And I’m going drinking later tonight. Trivia night at the local brewery.

If I was in Chicago - I would go with you. I need to get away from this computer !

QuTS h5.3.1 - eeeh
macOS Tahoe 26 - ugh !
