I have a TVS-h474 and want to upgrade the CPU. Has anyone with expertise ever replaced it?
In theory, it should be possible as long as you don’t exceed the power wattage, but whether the BIOS can recognize it, as well as stability and warranty, depends on personal choice. Replacing the CPU has its pros and cons; for details, please refer to the public manual.
I’ve done it, and it works very well.
I’ve put in an I7-12700T. I did use high-end heat sink grease. fast and cool.
