Hi there, I have a QNAP TS-673A which has a problem with the powerrail. The drives, leds and powerbutton does not work. The CPU runs ok and I can reach the NAS from local network and fire up the webpage. However because of the powerfailure on the backplane I can not proceed because there is no drive.
All powerlines from the powersupply are ok (even replaced the power supply). After inspection of the motherboard I found an (I think powerregulator U6) which has burnmarks on it. However I cannot see which type it is.
Is anybody willing to send me the type of powerregulator in position U6? I removed the component in de picture.
Hi Beunhass,
We checked this with our hardware team and can confirm that the component at U6 is ABLIC S-1206B15-U3T1U. It is a voltage regulator used for the CPU RTC power circuitry.
Manufacturer datasheet: ABLIC S-1206 Series
However, please be aware that U6 is not directly associated with the HDD backplane power circuitry. Therefore, we cannot confirm that the damaged U6 component is the cause of the HDD/backplane issue based on the symptoms alone.
Please note that the component information above is provided for reference only. If the issue persists, we recommend contacting QNAP Support for further diagnosis and repair service.
