Unable to initialize QTS Hero TS-664

I’m not new to QNAP, having run over 8 of them including a TS-464.

Normally there is an option to change from QTS to QTS Hero when first setting up the NAS, but that option to change FW is missing, only an option to updtae the FW. I’m using the latest Qfinder pro. All Windows firewalls are disabled. It is just using the 2.5g ports with no PCIe cards or any changes, and one hard drive. Current QTS is 5.1.6.2722.
I bought the 664 last year and it no longer returnable, not to mention the crazy cost of 6x28TB drives, so I need this to work and I need QTS hero like I use in 4 other QNAPS.

you must remove all storage devices.

and you must update your NAS to QTS 5.2.1.x

Switching to QuTS hero is supported starting from QTS 5.2.1.
