Unable to login into Ubuntu LXD container created from App Template

I am trying to use an Ubuntu LXD container to host an application but I’m unable to log into into the terminal interface once the container is created and running.

I get the following in the terminal session:
"Ubuntu 24.04.2 LTS [Container] console

[Conatiner] login: "

What are the default login details?

Did you follow this guide (console connection instructions are in there)

Thanks for the quick response, I have seen this guide and the section on creating users but I do not recognise the screenshots or commands.

I see “Attach Terminal” which takes me to the login screen - I don’t see a “Connect” option.

I am running Container Station Version 3.0.9.1038.

Please can you help?
