I wanted to pass on thanks to the amazing QNAP UK support team who have helped me over the years.
After a 42 year career in IT I can honestly say I have never experienced better support. They are responsive, pragmatic and honest in their interactions. Where software needs revision they take ownership and don’t dodge the hard questions (unlike other suppliers).
My twin TS-453 Pro NAS setup allows me to run my own Container station and VPN server for streaming access whilst abroad and protects my traffic over public networks.
My life’s photos and videos are protected and auto backed up across my twin NAS setup with Cloud off-site belt and braces backup using QNAP HBS.
The QuMagie AI now sorts out my 5TB videos and photo searching (after some hand people identification to assist the AI) and all this protected by free anti-malware, anti-virus and a Firewall built in ( I just need to remember to add my holiday destination geo rules in before I travel…not the first time I have been in a Hotel remote adding the geo rule!).
It just works. Zero downtime, zero data loss and a rock solid interface running QNAP NAS for 8+ years and counting. Two drives pre-failure replaced in 8 years and all hot swapped after drive degradation alerting warned me.
Qfile is my daily go to App and it’s auto upload from mobile means I don’t generally pay Cloud providers for storage. The new QNAP Cloud is also well integrated into Qfile & HBS.
Thanks again QNAP from a loyal customer who will renew and refresh my kit based on rock solid support.
