Upgrade of the UPS Management Subsystem to NUT >= 2.8.1

I would like to ask you to consider upgrading NUT, which is used as the backend for the UPS management tools, to version 2.8.1 or later.

Such an update would provide native support in QTS for many additional UPS models that are currently unsupported. Expanding compatibility in this way would significantly improve the user experience and increase customer satisfaction with their devices.

I am particularly interested in uninterruptible power supplies (UPSs) from EVER.

My model is the EVER ECO Pro 700 AVR CDS.

According to the NUT project database, it is supported by the usbhid-ups driver:
