Upgrading to QuTS 6

Hello everyone,

This is my first time here, and I hope I can help with my experience and that you can help me as well.

The issue is that I upgraded a TS-h3088-RP with 22 SSDs in RAID 60 to QuTS 6. The NAS also has a QM2-2P-384A card with two 2TB drives, configured for SSD caching. Well, after the upgrade, the NAS won’t boot. It starts in reset mode, and the data preservation options don’t work. I had to reset the entire RAID array. Afterward, the NAS booted, but it didn’t recognize the drives on the card, and upon restarting again, it went back to reset mode. I removed the card, and everything went back to normal. The strangest thing is that I previously upgraded a TS-3077AFU with the same drive configuration and the same card, and everything worked perfectly.

I’ll open a ticket with QNAP, but I’m sharing this in case my experience can help someone.

Greetings.

Thanks for the report! I’ll have our internal team try to reproduce the issue.

Thanks!

In case it’s relevant, the NAS TS-3088 also has a QXG-25G2SF-CX6 card installed, which works perfectly.
