[New Features]
- Added Instant Import, which starts a virtual machine directly from its original disk files with no format conversion, speeding up deployment.
- Added virtual disk space reclamation to recover unused space and improve storage efficiency.
- Added machine type selection when creating or editing a virtual machine. New virtual machines use Q35 by default.
- Added a VNC console mode for virtual machines with GPU passthrough, so you can keep using the web console when no external monitor is connected.
[Enhancements]
- Increased the maximum virtual disk capacity on QuTS hero to 64 TB. On QTS, the maximum remains 14 TB.
- Expanded PCIe device support so that more expansion cards in available slots can be assigned to virtual machines.
- Virtual machines now receive a serial number when created, so they can be enrolled in management services that require a hardware serial number.
- Improved VM High Availability with independent synchronization for each protected virtual machine, clearer plan information, and more reliable pairing and error reporting.
- Virtualization Station now checks the CPU allocation settings of a virtual machine before it starts, and adjusts them automatically if they no longer match the host configuration.
- Enhanced application security and stability through core component upgrades.
[Fixed Issues]
- Resolved an issue where a virtual machine could not be restored when its VNC password contained a period (.) character.
- Resolved an issue where no IP option was available when creating a virtual machine share link.
- Resolved an issue where an Ubuntu 22.04 virtual machine with a passthrough GPU showed a black screen because VNC authentication did not receive the correct IP address or password.
- Resolved an issue where disk images in raw format could not be imported.
- Resolved an issue where creating a virtual machine failed and the interface became unresponsive when DHCP was enabled on a virtual switch.
- Resolved an issue where Virtualization Station could not start after a self-encrypting drive (SED) storage pool was manually unlocked.
