Virtualization Station fails to open

Virtualization Station fails to open, with following error:

Looks like there’s a problem with this site

QNAP-NAS: TS-451D2
Firmware version: QTS 5.2.8.3359
Virtualization Station: 4.1.0.338

I de-installed and re-installed several times after removing QKVM and .QKVM files under .qpkg, still the same problem.

Can anyone please suggest or help to solve this issue?

Thanks;
Horst

Is 192.168.117.4 the IP address of the NAS?

This is what my VM window looks like:

Are you sure you have things set up correctly in Virtualization Station? You can open the app - yes?

No, I cannot open the app at all. I get this message when I try to open the app.

I seem to remember vswitch issues keeping virtualization station from loading..have you tried a reset of your vswitch?

I will try it, coming weekend and report back

Thanks for the hint

I tried it, but unfortunately this did not solve the problem. Container Station works perfect, only Virtualization Station has this issue.

Time to open a ticket with QNAP.

Oh one last thing - have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling Virtualization Station? Maybe something got goobered in the install

Yes I did, even downloaded the qpkg package and re-installed it, made sure all files and hidden files where deleted and rebooted. My next step might be a rebuild from scratch.

I bit the bullet and wiped the NAS and re-installed the OS and Virtualization Stations. I can now open it and it asks for configuration. I didn’t configure it yet. I will do it after the RAID is synchronized and the NAS is configured. Will check the Virtualization Stations after each individual item is configured, such as Network and will update the forum after all done.

If the issue persists and remains unresolved, please open a support ticket via our official service portal. Our Support Team will further assist you in identifying the cause and providing a solution.

Thank you!

After wiping the OS and re-installing from scratch, it is working now.

Thanks for all the replies and suggestions.
