System is 431+ on RAID 10.
I want to put a vpn client on and still be able to access the nas from outside my network. Basically, just upload 100s of photos from various locations.
Are there issues I need to overcome because of the VPN?
Running a VPN on your router is probably your best bet. If your router supports Wireguard connections, that is best. If you can’t do that, you should be able to use the VPN app on the QNAP. I don’t use it so I can’t tell you much about it…
