Wake on Lan - Port No

I have a TS-133 with QTS 5.2.8.3350 which supports Wake on Lan. Can someone tell me which Port it uses for the WoL packets. Most systems use 7 or 9 but is this also true of QNAP devices?

Qfinder Pro only tell me it does WoL, but not which Port it uses.

I’ve not heard of any non-standard port usage by QNAP for WoL.

Is your NAS failing to respond to its magic packet?

No, it wasn’t responding to the magic packet which made me wonder if QNAP used a non-standard Port rather than 7 or 9.

If they’re using the standard ports I’ll have to look elsewhere for the source of the problem.

The vswitch Port display should indicate all WOL capable ports. I use WoL to wakeup all my NAS after power shutdown events (controled via UPS) and it works rock solid

Thanks for the tip. Not sure what happened previously but WOL now works using Port 9.
