What UPS is recommended for 2 x 4 bay QNAP's

Seeking advice on any recommendations for a UPS to handle both a QNAP TS-454+ and TS-464 with all 4 bays on both having Seagate Hard Drives in them. The 464 also has 2 x NVME SSD’s being used as cache. There will also be a NUC running proxmox VE and a Home Assistant green connecting to the same UPS unit. I’m hoping for 2 hours of battery life. Please reach out if you need more information. Thankyou in advance.

For 2 4bays you are going to need 1500va. That is the biggest you can get for under $200. Anything larger is ~$1000 on up. Your runtime will probably be only 20 minutes. Amazon Basics/Essentials has one for around $160. APC is generally around $190 but they have a great warranty. I recently had an APC fail after 5 months and they sent me a brand new one (2 day shipping) with new batteries and paid the return shipping on the old one “just put the old one in the box when you get the new one and use the label to return it” You can configure one of your NAS’s as network master and the other as network slave so both can shut down when power goes out.

Agreed on 1500 and you wont get near 2 hours but its logical choice. Obviously with no load on the NAS you can squeak a bit longer out of the battery but to get 2 hours you are looking commercial level I think. I have 2 different 8 bays each on 1500va backups along with other devices and can maybe get 20 minutes tops.

thank you.
