.HEIC keyword tags not shown in Qumagie but can see these in file properties

Hi all!

I have spent considerable number of hours tagging .HEIC photos imported from my familys iphones. It looks like the tagging is working, i can view the tags in Qumagie. However, after some time (or restart), Qumagie no longer shows the tags and photos disappear from the smart album but the keyword tags can still be seen in file properties

This only happens with .HEIC files and i have licensed Cayin media player

Any way to get the tags indexed again? I’m afraid to run the re-index as it states all metadata will be lost

Hi @Aarto we tried to reproduce the behavior with HEIC files in our test environment, but were unable to reproduce it.

Your intuition is correct, not run the Re-index that may affect existing QuMagie metadata.

Please open a support ticket through the QNAP Customer Service and let the support team can arrange a remote connection for development team to check the issue and help you to fix it.
