It is trying to Rebuild the broken Raid5 drive and will take +999 hours.
Can we take the broken drive out and hope as it is Raid5 that it will run ? So we restart the QNAP after we take the bad drive out ?

The RAID would not rebuild, if the broken drive was still in there..so please provide minimal details NAS model, etc.
We repslaced the broken drive, but also had to replace a hot-spare as the software had problems with that nad did not want to rebuild on the new drive. Setting Cache OFF and taking the partly used Hot sprare out solved the issue.
Neither NAS model nor cache use were disclosed, hard to help without any provided information.
