Mac users with Apple chips will soon be unable to run Intel apps

Apple has discontinued Rosetta. Apps from providers that are based on Intel can no longer be used on the latest Mac variants.

Does this mean Qfinder Pro will soon stop working, and will I no longer have access to the NAS?

I have a MacBook Pro Max 2

Thanks for your help

Qfinder is just for finding, there must be simpler ways to mount SMB shares.

I found it. There’s a new update for Qfinder, which will soon be compatible with Silicon Valley chips.

Silicon Valley? I think you mean Apple Silicon.

Yeah, that was the dumb AI messing with my word again and I didn’t check it. But alright, I’ll install the new app tomorrow and then everything will be fine again.

@Andreadievernich according to the release notes, Qfinder has native support for Apple Silicon starting with version 7.13.1. I installed the update and confirmed that it is displayed as a “Universal Application” in the system.

Please try the latest version. Let us know if you encounter any issues.

Thank you very much, I’ve installed it and everything is fine now. Thanks for your efforts.

Best regards, Andrea best regards, best regards
