Security Updates

  • Applied multiple security updates to further enhance system security.

Enhancement

Control Panel

  • Administrators can now back up and restore system settings between QTS and QuTScloud, and between QuTS hero and QuTScloud hero.

Login Screen

  • After an administrator enforces 2-step verification (2SV) without configuring SMTP service or signing in to myQNAPcloud, users can still log in and complete 2SV setup. (Previously, users were locked out.)

Fixed Issues

  • Resolved an issue where, after delegating roles to domain users, the system would fail to display existing domain groups in “Control Panel > Privilege > User Groups”.
  • Increased the width of the phone number field in “Personal Settings > Profile”, allowing users to see the entered phone number in full.

I’m still on 5.1 as it’s been working well and my NAS are no-where near the Internet. However I think 5.2 may be due now…

My main question is if there is a list somewhere of all the stuff I’ll need to sort out to give the same functionality my 5.1 has in 5.2?

For example I know parts of QTS have moved to Apps and I’ll need to install them, permissions may be different and potentially need changing, plus other new limitations I’ll need to keep an eye out for, etc.

Bug report: On both my nas’s that have Container station installed you can’t resize container station and if you try to maximize it, it just moves up and doesn’t get bigger.

Hi,

I use an Android tablet to access my NAS and an option to circumvent the windows size/placement is to open it in its own tab.

You long-press the “desktop” icon and a contextual menu will appear with that option… temporary workaround for your case.
