NAS - TS-664. How do you completely disable synchronization? I accidentally deleted a folder and need to recover it, and I don’t want anything overwritten.

Sorry. The dropdown tab says it is synchronizing. A while back there was a stop button on the dropdown tab but it disappeared after an update. I deleted a folder and I want to recover it and I need to completely shut down synchronizing so nothing is overwritten.
I give up, no idea what “dropdown box” this is or where you see it, you keep your secrets.
I not sure what you are asking because I want to turn off synchronizing period. I am trying to be helpful, but I just run Plex and have little knowledge of the workings of a NAS.

So far we only know your NAS model, what this syncs to or what is syncing to it: unknown.

@dolbyman, I think the OP is using the Qsync application.
I figured, but that application would be installed somewhere (a client that syncs to the NAS) and the profile pic looks a bit ‘trolly’

@Snakebait, what device are you syncing from please? Windows PC, macOS, mobile device, etc… version and build numbers would be quite helpful.

What do I do? I deleted Qsync and synchronizing is still running. I have the NAS turned off to stop overwriting and when someone has a solution I will turn the NAS on a try it.

What is the device (and OS) you use to sync with the NAS?
Maybe it is resyncing drives after he turned it off - long press power button?
NO long press. Now that you mention it I had a power failure.
